Participation Terms

1. General

Participation in the Amateur Padel Charity Tournament (hereafter referred to as "the Tournament") constitutes full acceptance of the terms and conditions detailed in these regulations.

2. Tournament Registration

To participate, each player must complete a registration form that includes their personal details and a confirmation of agreement to these regulations.

The participation fee is ₪5,000 per player. The Tournament is open exclusively to amateur padel players who are classified at the C or D level. Professional padel or tennis players, coaches, or individuals ranked A or B are not eligible to participate.

Initial registration must be submitted through the official Tournament website: www.apct.co.il. Following submission, the Tournament Manager will review each application. Upon approval, the registrant will receive a link to the payment page to finalize registration.

Registration becomes valid only after full payment is received and explicit approval is granted by the Tournament Manager.

Any participant who receives financial compensation for their participation is disqualified from competing in the Tournament.

3. Tournament Rules

During Phase A (group stage), each team will play a minimum of three matches. These matches will follow a one-set format. The top two teams from each group, based on accumulated points, will advance to Phase B.

Phase B (knockout stage) will consist of matches played in a best-of-three sets format. Approximately half of the teams (depending on total participants) will advance to this stage.

From Phase B onwards, the Tournament will follow a single-elimination format, meaning that any loss results in immediate elimination.

4. Participation Fee as a Donation

All participation fees will be deposited into a trust account and subsequently donated to charitable organizations, in accordance with these regulations.

The top three winning teams (1st to 3rd place) will select the organizations to receive the donation. Selected organizations must be registered Israeli non-profits with no political affiliations. It is the responsibility of the winners to verify the legal eligibility of the chosen organizations under Israeli law.

After the donation is made, the recipient organizations will receive an official letter including the name of the Tournament and the names of the winning participants on whose behalf the donation was given. Participants wishing to remain anonymous must inform the Tournament Manager in writing ahead of time.

Donations will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st Place: 50% of the total amount
  • 2nd Place: 35% of the total amount
  • 3rd Place: 15% of the total amount

5. Tournament Management

The Tournament Manager holds exclusive authority over all professional and technical matters related to the Tournament.

All decisions made by the Tournament Manager are final and not subject to appeal.

The Tournament Manager may stop a match or disqualify a participant at their sole discretion in cases of unsportsmanlike behavior, harm to others, or breach of these regulations.

6. Liability and Cancellation

Participation in the Tournament is the sole responsibility of each participant. Tournament dates will be published in advance, and participants are responsible for ensuring their availability during the scheduled times.

The participation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including participant cancellations.

By registering, each participant declares that they are in good physical health and fit to participate in a competitive athletic event of this nature.

The Tournament Organizers are not liable—directly or indirectly—for any damage, loss, injury, or harm, whether bodily or to property, sustained during the Tournament or while using its facilities. This includes courts, equipment, waiting areas, and parking areas.

Participants are solely responsible for their own safety and personal belongings throughout the event.

7. Additional Terms

All participants must arrive at the designated time and follow the venue's rules regarding conduct and dress code.

The Tournament Organizers reserve the right to revise these regulations at any time.
